Rick Glassman

On Thursday and Friday of last week, Rick Glassman came and spoke to the 4th grade students about animals of Indiana. Through Mr. Glassman's entertaining presentation and nature games, the students were able to learn a little more about the natural life surrounding them! (See photos below) :)

4th Grade Silver Hawks Game

Seats have been reserved at the Silver Hawks Stadium for NLES students. The game will be on Sunday, May 2nd. Tickets can be bought at the stadium (unless, you made all of your SWOOP bases and earned a free pass).

TAKE THOSE QUIZZES!

SWOOP ends this Wednesday, March 31st. Anyone who rounds the bases and makes it home will receive a Silver Hawks, bleacher voucher (good for all six Reading Club Nights during the 2010 season)! There are many people who are VERY close! Get those quizzes in before Thursday! I will give the class their totals on Monday.

NLES Fun Fair!!

The NLES Fun Fair is coming up quick! This is an exciting, fun-filled event that you can’t miss! The Fun Fair will be on Friday, April 16th (5:oo p.m.).
Each classroom is responsible for running a specific game or booth. For our class, I have chosen the “Face Painting” booth! If you are hiding an artistic talent and would like to volunteer to help, please let me know!

Tissue Shortage

It’s been a long winter of runny noses and watery eyes! As a result, our classroom supply of Kleenex is down to just a few boxes. If you have a box or two you’d like to donate, please send them on in! Your child’s shirt sleeves will thank you kindly!
